This is surprising and disappointing too.

…mpensation increases. N/A (non-applicable) answers are mostly from the poor souls who got laid off. I’m surprised to see that 13.3% of them received no increase at all and that around 35% of them increased their salaries by less than 20%. Job switches are perfect for increasing one’s salary, but it seems that designers don’t know that.

This is surprising and disappointing too. I was laid off because the company was downsizing. But took that as an opportunity and aimed for 2x salary. It took some time but I got it.... 😅
